Before you join
What does the strategy actually do?
GONG is a trading strategy written in code that runs on your TradingView chart. It follows the price, decides by fixed rules whether to enter a trade, in which direction and when to exit, and creates signals and alerts in TradingView. You set the trade size in the settings.
Does the strategy guarantee profits?
No. Nobody can guarantee a profit in trading. The strategy follows fixed rules that were tested on past data, but past performance does not guarantee future results. There can be losing trades and losing periods. Futures trading involves leverage, and you can lose more than you deposited.
When does the strategy trade, and what about days without a trade?
The strategy enters a few minutes after the New York open (9:30 a.m. ET), at most one trade a day, and closes everything by 2:00 p.m. New York time. On days when its conditions are not met, it does not enter. Such days happen often, and that is part of the method.
What do I need to get started?
A TradingView account, and a GONG subscription bought on our TradingView page. After purchase, the full guide is in the members area of our site.
Do you have access to my trading account?
No. We have no access to your trading account, and we take no action in it.
Can I check the strategy before I decide?
Yes. Once installed, the strategy marks its trades on the chart, and TradingView's Strategy Tester shows its results on past data.
